This page explains how JC Electrical uses cookies and similar local storage on this website, in line with the GDPR and the ePrivacy rules.

1. The short version

We do not use advertising cookies, analytics, or any third-party tracking. We use only a small amount of essential local storage to make the site work the way you expect.

2. What we store and why

We store two small values in your browser's local storage: your theme preference (light or dark), saved as jc-electrical-theme, and your cookie-notice choice, saved as jc-cookie-consent so we don't show the banner again. We may also remember your language preference. These are strictly necessary to remember settings you choose yourself, contain no personal data, and are never shared.

3. No third-party or tracking cookies

We do not set marketing cookies and do not profile visitors. The contact form is delivered through Web3Forms and the site is hosted on Cloudflare; neither is used to track you across other sites.

4. Managing your choices

You can reopen the cookie notice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the website footer. You can also clear this site's storage from your browser settings at any time; the site will still work, and your preferences will simply reset.
