This Privacy Policy explains how JC Electrical ("we", "us") collects and uses your personal data when you contact us through this website, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable U.S. privacy laws.

1. Who is responsible for your data (Data Controller)

2. What data we collect

We only collect what you choose to send us through the contact form or by phone, text or email: your name, your phone number or email, the town where the project is, a description of the work, and any photos you decide to share. We do not collect special-category data, and we do not ask for it.

3. Why we use it and our legal basis

We use your data only to reply to your enquiry, prepare a free estimate, schedule a visit, and keep basic records of the job. The legal basis is your consent (which you give by ticking the box and sending the form) and, where relevant, the steps taken at your request before entering into a contract. You can withdraw consent at any time (see section 7).

4. Who can see your data (recipients)

We do not sell or rent your data and never share it for advertising. Your form message is delivered to our email through Web3Forms, our form-processing provider, and the website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. These providers only process the data needed to deliver your message and serve the site. Because some providers operate in the United States, your data may be processed there; transfers rely on the providers' standard data-protection safeguards.

5. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry messages only as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records, and then delete them. You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.

6. Cookies and local storage

This site does not use tracking or advertising cookies. It uses only essential local storage to remember your theme and language preferences. Full details are in our Cookie Policy.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it ("right to be forgotten"), restrict or object to its use, receive a copy (portability), and withdraw consent at any time. 8. Photos

Photos you send are used only to assess the project. We will not publish them on the website or in marketing without the property owner's permission.

9. Children

This site is intended for adults requesting home services and is not directed at children.
